Core Access Surgical Technologies (CAST) is a US-based, global medical device company that designs, develops, manufactures, and distributes proprietary medical devices specializing in abdominal access innovation. The first product in the pipeline is CAST’s proprietary technology, the LevaLap 1.0™, a minimally invasive surgery abdominal access device. LevaLap is a dome-shaped device with a vacuum port and an injection septum which uses negative pressure to create increased peritoneal safe space to protect underlying abdominal organs and vessels during laparoscopic procedures. New and innovative CAST products are presently under development.
